Snow days really show off the sturdy stone buildings that dot the Bucks County landscape. My medium of watercolor works well with these scenes since I leave the white of the paper for the snow and paint the remaining scene around it.

We have lived in our stone farmhouse for over 45 years. These surroundings and the Bucks County countryside have inspired my watercolor paintings. I received my under graduate degree from Gordon College in Mass and my masters from Rowan University in N.J. After teaching in Pennsauken, N.J. and Abington, Pa I retired to raise our two daughters in the home in Buckingham that my husband built. That is where I returned to what I had loved since childhood...Art.
